Solar Dance

We reached out to the UW Dance School and asked if any students were interesting in performing on a stage of solar panels. Thankfully, two enthusiastic Huskies answered the call, resulting in one of our favorite collaborations! 2050 Project feels strongly that art and culture can make greater contributions to the work of climate action. People need to have a deeper emotional connection to the challenge and responsibility of rehabilitating our environment. Framing information through the lens of art and culture will strengthen this emotional bond while motivating audiences to act.
